Zinda: Promo Watch Click here to add this article to My Clips

By Gaurav Malani, November 1, 2005 - 23:12 IST

Sanjay Gupta has always been known for the sleek look he imparts to his movies. Whether it’s the camera angles, colored lens, brazen feel or the shot executions, his films always have always been slick and stylish. The tradition continues and in fact just gets better with Zinda where the slickness can be witnessed in the trailer itself. Remember we had promised you to make the world premiere of the trailer on IndiaFM. So here we go…

Sanjay Gupta chooses a specific look for each of his movies and this time he goes for a complete dark look with the trailer being completely shot in dark shades. It opens to show Sanjay Dutt imprisoned somewhere (that doesn’t seem to be the usual government jail) and for the first three months he just keeps asking as to why is he held captive. Taken without warning, held without reason, his frustration just adds up in the subsequent months until he ends up spending 14 years in detention. Until he is suddenly set free and has just 4 days to find out why, for all this time, he was kept alive (Zinda).

The trailer ends on a spellbinding note with the final frame showing John Abraham (who supposedly plays a negative role) staring towards the camera with his sharp piercing looks.

Produced by Sanjay Dutt and Nitin Manmohan, under the banner of ‘White Feather Films Pvt Ltd’ this film written and directed by Sanjay Gupta will hit the screens this winter. Stay tuned for more!
