Know about a stunt that gave Suniel a slip too…
This was when Suniel was shooting for the much delayed and now shelved film, Hum Panchi Ek Daal Ke co-starring Aishwarya besides a bagful of bacchalog. “Since the canvas of the film was huge, there was a lot of spot-on shoots that was involved. We were flying from Badrinath to Ranikheth on a similar on-location shoot” the star entrepreneur reminisces.
“Nothing wrong with the takeoff, the mid journey was fine too but somewhere suddenly the engine developed a snag and we had to crash land before something tragic happened. So we crash landed into a military field. Since this was a sudden abort that we conducted, the military hugely suspected us and was pointing guns at us when we got off from the plane. You can’t imagine the fright that we experienced. Luckily, there was an Air Force officer who reasoned with the jawans and explained the situation. Had it not been for that elderly gentleman, I wouldn’t be here talking to you” Suniel ends.
