Once again giggling uncontrollably, she tells us, “Gee, I had this huge crush, the size of a boulder, for Kabir Bedi!” she says, her eyes lighting up. “I thought he was the most charismatic person on planet earth and longed to meet him everytime he would light up the Italian serial Sandokan” Shilpa reminisces.
“Then one day in an interview, he happened to mention my name among the actresses he likes. Imagine my state! I was mad with glee! That must have been one of my happiest days of my life! Then again on of the many occasions that we are invited to, Kabir and I happened to get ‘neighbor seating’. I was thrilled! Think about it, I was sitting an inch away from the man I thought was incredibly gorgeous and had always looked upto! But I was keen not to make a fool of myself, so sooner than not, I got a hold of myself and behaved like any good lady would.
But yes, that evening was special, very special!”
