Heroes have always topped it when it comes to being prankmasters
But Tanushree Dutta certainly bags the title ‘Miss. Goofball’
“I don’t know what it is with me that I am constantly the butt of all jokes” complaints the Bengali beauty making puppy eyes at us. “I am invariably getting into a mess” says the actor and lets us on an incident that happened on the sets of Chocolate.
The Flame game
“I play a vixen in the film; hence my character has certain vices like smoking. So I was lighting up a cigarette for a shot. While I was at it, I realize that something is burning! Imagine my horror when I realize that that ‘something’ happens to be my hair! Gosh I was scramming around like a mad woman until the unit guys came around with towels and dabbed out the fire. I was almost in tears!” recollects the doe-eyed actor.
“Only later did it dawn upon me that I had just straightened my hair recently and hence had product on my hair which is what triggered the mishap. But just imagine how I must have looked with my hair in flames! Ridiculous!”
Rise and Fall
“Kafi giri hui ladki hain” kids my hairstylist. That it is quite a snide remark but then I have given reason for it. I don’t know what it is that I keeping falling every now and then. Stilettos, spiral staircase or delicate ankles, I don’t need any of these excuses to fall! I guess I am very clumsy; in now time I am down with a ‘Thud!’
Hide n Seek
Then there was this another time when we were shooting in a mall. It was a hi-tension sequence and all of us actors were stationed at different points in the mall for the shot. There were huge crowds in the mall and as you can guess by now, I got lost! Yes, it was so embarrassing to know that you are lost and yet not know the way out. Luckily these guys realized that I wasn’t around and came looking for me. I was all red faced, poppy-eyed waiting for them!
