Manisha Koirala speaks about Paisa Vasool

What was your experience while working for this film?
It has been a very new experience, because I learned a lot and matured a lot. And you know, a difficulty always teaches you. Towards the end of the film, I am very relaxed. It's good and I did well.
This is your first film as a producer, how important is subject for you?
It's a different volume altogether being a producer. You have to take the responsibility from day one. Not only financial responsibility but also as to how you face the film, which subject you chose, whom you chose to act in the film, to edit the film and everything. So there's lots of responsibility.
How was it, working on the sets of the movie?
We had a blast during shooting. All of us really enjoyed working together. And Sush , Tinuji (Anand) all of us had really good time.
This is Sri Nivas's first film as a director. How much faith you have in him?
Well I always knew Sri Nivas will make me proud and he has made it. And now I am just waiting for audience to like the film. Sri Nivas has done a very good job and made a good film. It's a hilarious film. I have known him for so many years now.
Tell us something about the music of this film?
Music is given by Bapi – Tutul. They are extremely versatile music directors. They have done very good work in this film. We also have very good lyrics. A night-club number, a disco and some very good remix numbers. So all that put together its quite interesting.
Tell us something about your character in the film?
My character in the film is of a catholic girl, who has run away from her husband because he used to beat her and blah blah blah… She is very shy and not so confident girl. Then she meets Sushmita who is a bold and go-ahead kind of girl. She has lots of confidence. How these two girls come together and become best friends and do all kind of mischief, is what the film is all about.
