Of taglines and titles… Click here to add this article to My Clips

By IndiaFM News Bureau, January 11, 2005 - 04:10 IST

First it was lines from the songs and now its ad taglines that are being lifted as film titles. With Dil Mange More already in the legal rut, there are a few more films lined up this year with popular ad taglines as the titles. Hope the producers of these films have heard the axiom 'A stitch in time saves nine' and do the needful before releasing the films. Meanwhile creativity anyone…

Jo Andar Fit Woh Bahar Bhi Hit

Cast: Alok Nath, Avtaar Gill, Pankaj Beri, Mustaq Khan, Krishna Bhatt, Seema Pandey, Gaurav Ghai, Shalini Pal.

Director: Sunil S. Rathi

This is a comedy film with social message that success is not about achieving results but about proper means as well. The story is about the survival and success of S.V. College and of a sharp young mind that believes in achieving results by hook or crook. The hero along with his friend 'Electric' leads the college to success. But in this race he commits several wrongs that arise in the end as a stark realization of his father's principles.

Life Ho To Aisi

Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Shahid Kapoor, Amrita Rao

Director: Mahesh Manjrekar

Of what little has been revealed about the film, Sanjay Dutt plays Yumraj (the God of death) in modern version of course! (with Armaani suits and a hi-tech car). Shahid dies in the film and arrives in heaven where he meets Yumraj. Circumstances force Yumraj to send Shahid back to earth and Yumraj too accompanies him down. (The theme seems similar to films attempted earlier like Jhuk Gaya Aasman and Taqdeerwala).

Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye

Cast: Arshad Warsi, Mahima Choudhary, Shahrukh Khan (sp. App) , Deepti Naval, Sandhya Mridul, Parvin Dabbas, Sachin Khedekar, Iravati Harshe, Kanwaljeet Singh, Mrinal Kulkarni

Director: Samar Khan

In this flick, Arshad plays a modern day Devdas and works at the Malaysian Airport just to catch glimpse of his ladylove played by Mahima Choudhary, on regular basis. Don't miss SRK in a special appearance playing himself.
