King size qawalli in Kisna!
By IndiaFM News Bureau, July 24, 2004 - 05:09 IST
The much in news special number by Sushmita Sen in Kisna is being shot at Film City, Goregaon. The third day of the shoot happened yesterday, with one more day to go. While Ghai is keeping the song press-shy, IndiaFM manages to get you some juicy news strings of this under-the-wraps song.
Primarily, the song is a qawalli. After Meenaxi's Noor-un-ula and Main Hoon Na's Tumse Milke, looks like the qawalli has returned in style. Music moghul Ismail Darbar has scored this song. And Ghai favorite Saroj Khan has choreographed the track.
The song is being picturised on the palatial sets created by Samir Chanda. The set, which bears a rich haweli look, has been dressed in beautiful blue shades. The costumes have been designed such that they balance out the grandiose of the backdrop. So, while you get to see La Sen in a mustard color outfit, the chorus dancers sport white costumes. Ace lensman Ashok Mehta has used realistic lighting giving a surreal look to the song.
