Shawar Ali speaks about Khamosh

Shawar has firmly made up his mind not to divulge any detail about the role he is essaying in Deepak Tijori's Khamosh. But one hears that he is playing a cop in KHAMOSH. In an exclusive interview to IndiaFM, Shawar vouches that this character is truly different and will establish his credentials in the industry.
You are seen in psychological thrillers as well as in sociological thrillers. It seems that you are working more on thrillers. Please comment.
I am playing the central character in this action-oriented movie that has enough scope for a new comer like me to perform. I selected this movie because the character that I play in this movie appealed to me the most. After reading the script and the screenplay, I realized that the character is very different from what I have played before and I truly believe to be working exactly as per the script for the betterment of my career.
Every character in the movie has it's own significance. We have heard that you are playing a key role in this movie. Tell us something about how important your character is in the movie.
I have a very important role to play in this movie but I am very sorry for not disclosing anything about the movie right now. Believe me, watching the movie would be real fun. The script of the movie is such that my expression in words would really spoil the beauty of its presentation.
Tell us something about the action sequences in the movie.
The film is totally a dramatic movie, which has action sequences also. After hearing the script of the film I spontaneously agreed to play the character I had been offered because the story itself is very different from other movies and to add on that, my character is really very good in this movie.
You are working with Deepak for the first time. Tell us whether it's really difficult working in a thriller movie with an actor-turned-director?
Deepak has a good working experience in this industry as an actor as well as a director.
As a new comer, it's better for me to work with a director who is also an actor. Deepak being an experienced actor knows well about the proper treatment that a new comer requires and is very well equipped at getting the best out of a new comer and I truly believe working with Deepak would be real fun. As far as Deepak's talent is concerned, from the directorial point of view even his first film was indeed very good.

No. It's just a solo song that has been picturised totally on Shilpa Shetty. We shall start shooting for the film soon.
