Aitraaz-Kisna bash: Dual Dhamaka!

In a double take, Subhash Ghai threw a grand Aitraaz-Kisna dual party on Sunday night! The occasion was Mukta Arts completing a solid run of 26 years! And true to his tradition, the movie moghul announced four movies. One of which will be directed by the showman himself and the remaining three will be directed by Abbas-Mustan, Satish Kaushik and Nagesh Kukunoor.
The Movers and Shakers
Seen having a blast were Ghai favorites Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor. Udit Narayan, lyricist Sameer and composer Himesh Reshamiyya formed the music mandali. Priyanka Chopra looked blazing in a blue off shoulder. The sizzler who plays a dark character in Aitraaz posed for pictures with Subhash Ghai.
Hrishitaa Bhatt got a warm hug from Shahrukh who dashed in with a quick appearance. The petite actress makes a special appearance in Kisna. Akshay Kumar stuck to the director-duo, Abbas Mustan all evening. Hrithik Roshan in a beige suit was sporting his new look of long locks and thick-rimmed glasses.

While the party poured into late hours, we cornered actress Priyanka about her role in Aitraaz. “The film is a thriller. I play Sonia who is an ambitious go-getter. She is an edgy character. And will get whatever she desires come heaven or hell! It was a challenging role for a person like me who is only 5 films old”, Priyanka points out.
And does she relate to the character? “Not in the least. I am so unlike her. Which is the exact reason that playing Sonia became that much more tougher. I have worked so hard on the character that there were times when I lived Sonia even after pack-up!”

Just as we wind up the sawaal session with Priyanka, another beauty has just stepped in. The cameras glow at the irresistible Kareena Kapoor. “Ditto Bewafaa, you are playing a mature woman, right?” “Now this is weird. When I played teenager roles, people kept hounding me. Now that I have made a shift in gear, the questions still persist. Let me clarify that I can play all kinds of roles. I refuse to get typecast!” the star snaps.
Meanwhile, Shahrukh and Hrithik pass their goodwill wishes to Subhash Ghai for his accomplishment. Jackie Shroff is in his mast mood and recounts the wonderful work years he has had with the director.

Under the umbrella of friends and well-wishers, the cinema sultan cut a jumbo cake marking the celebration. IndiaFM caught the moviemaker with cake & questions, “Subhashji, film mein kisko kis se aitraaz hain?” the man patiently answers us, “Kisiko kisise aitraaz nahi hain, Aitraaz hain toh us morals pein jisko humein paar nahin karna chahiye. You'll see a real facet of the new-age woman. Aur waise bhi, logon ko sirf buri filmon se Aitraaz hota hain”
