Sunny speaks on 'Lakeer'

Lakeer is a very different name for a movie and you are playing the central character in the film. But in the promos, we don't see you. So is there some mystery element in your character?
(Glaring at the producer) Hey is it true? (Then smiles) I have no idea as to why they are not showing me in the promos.
What is your character like?
I am sure you all remember my film Arjun. In this film the character of Arjun is shown where he would be right now. It's extension of the character. That's why I wear a tie and have also picked little elements from that film.
This film is the debut vehicle for choreographer-turned-director Ahmed Khan. So what kind of shade he has given to the whole film?
Ahmed has his own way of storytelling. He has his own way of camera movement. And that's what he has done in this film. It's an interesting subject, which has been spoken and shown across from his point of view. It is not kind of pattern, which we see in films wherein everything is staged.
The cast of the film ranges from new to experienced ones. So how was the experience of working with them all?
See when we do a film we all are characters. Then we don't think that he is Suneil Shetty or John or Sohail. Moreover Ahmed has handled all the characters very well. I would only say that when you see the film you would realize that each actor has given his best to the film.
What is the kind of rapport you have with new artistes?
See my rapport from start to end has been that I don't talk much. And over the years people have started keeping distance from me. So the question of rapport doesn't arise. They just love me and respect me.
The audiences have unique expectations from a Sunny Deol film. So can they expect the same from Lakeer?
See this film has everything - music, romance, action, drama and everything in totality. So it's not that the film has only 'maar-dhad' (action).
