By IndiaFM News Bureau, November 25, 2003 - 04:29 IST

Day: Saturday

Date: 22nd November

Time: 9 am

Location: Kashmere Gate Metro station, New Delhi.

The cast: Kareena Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Sushmita Sen, Manoj Bajpai and Shamita Shetty.

Scene 1: A girl draped in a blue and green chiffon saree entering the station, looking around nervously and buying her ticket. The automatic ticket collection system leaves her confused and she is puzzled. But, finally, she is successful and heads for the escalator.

Scene 2: She boards the Metro. She, however, is cheating on her husband.

These are the two scenes being picturised on Kareena Kapoor for Dharmesh Darshan's Bewafaa - The Unfaithful. Kareena plays the central role who is in love with Akshay Kumar. She is forced to marry her dead sister's (Sushmita Sen) husband played by Anil Kapoor.

According to rumours, Dharmesh Darshan's Bewafaa – The Unfaithful is a remake of the musical hit of the 60's. The film is inspired from B R Chopra's 'Gumraah'. Dharmesh Darshan is quick to clarify that that as a filmmaker, several great works have inspired him and he has been just borrowing those ideas and interpreting them in his own individualistic style. That's not plagiarism.

According to Darshan, the movie is not a copy, as is being made out as the settings, characters and the ambiences are different.
