He's only a film old and industrywallas say that the kid has already ruffled a few feathers.
“You heard it right, I turned down his offer” says Mohit Ahlawat with unmistakable candor. “But what I don't understand is why is it such a shocker to people?” he asks plainly. What really transpired between the two of you? “Mr.Ghai one day messaged me asking if I would like to do his project. And I text him back, 'Not interested'”
He looks at our bemused expression and says, “Why is it so hard for people to accept facts? He made me an offer, it didn't suit my interest, I turned it down. What is so possibly unbelievable about this?” he questions. But doesn't he fear upsetting the apple cart? “No” comes the curt reply. “I can't get all wobbly and accept work that doesn't suit my taste” Mohit states. “It isn't like I am being invited to a bash or something frivolous. It is a full-length motion picture wherein I am expected to invest time, energy and talent. And wouldn't want to fool around with that” the debutant gets livid. He then adds, “I am sure that even Mr. Subhash Ghai wouldn't want to have a disinterested hero hanging around his sets either” he tries objectifying the situation.
