| As a part of the preparation for the film Jannat, which takes a scathing look at the rampant match-fixing, Emraan Hashmi and debutant director Kunal Deshmukh took frequent rounds of popular haunts of bookies in the Bombay city. Emraan and Kunal closely observed the body language and terminology commonly used by bookies and their aides during an on-going match.

| Emraan Hashmi and Mahesh Bhatt were at loggerheads over the publicity posters of Jannat. Emraan wanted to appear solo in the stills, while the director and producer thought otherwise. Eventually, both the designs were approved.

| The crew of Raftaar had to trick the crowd at Pahar Ganj in Delhi, to be able to shoot without being swarmed by the crowds. Raftaar ran into trouble with the crowd that roughed up the unit earlier at Chandni Chowk, resulting in the cancellation of the shoot. To duck the crowd, the crew created a mock set a few meters away from the location in Pahar Ganj where Emraan had to shoot a vital sequence. Camera and other equipments were arranged at Pahar Ganj for the crowd. Once the crowd's attention was diverted, Emraan quickly gave the shot and got back into his car
immediately. Before the crowd could realise what had happened, the shoot was over and Emraan was safely away! |
