| Amitabh Bachchan granted permission to Anupam Kher to shoot outside his bungalow Jalsa for Mr Bhatti Ki Chhutti. As Big B's crazy fan in Mr Bhatti Ki Chhutti, Kher has to interact with Bachchan's watchman, who happened to be the watchman who actually guards Bachchan's bungalow. The sequence was shot on 1st January 2008 outside Jalsa and lasted for five hours, from 9 am to 2.30 pm.

| The unit of Shoebite damaged government property during the Shimla shoot. As per sources, important portions were being shot near the Chief Minister's residence, located southwest of the Mall, towards Chota Shimla. For one of the scenes, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, a foot of the security railing was cut to install a camera in the high security zone. A section of the local media captured the damaged railing on camera. When the pictures became public, officials of Shimla's 'Nagar Nigam' panicked due to the incident taking place in a VIP zone, not normally accessible/allowed for shooting. Shoojit Sircar regretted the incident, but added that there were no malafide intentions. The railing was repaired by the film's unit. |

| On 21st Jan 2008, the unit of Shoebite shot with a duplicate of Amitabh Bachchan on the banks of Beas river since he could not make it to the sets on time. Since the weather was clear, the unit decided not to wait for him and went ahead with the duplicate instead. Security had to be called to control the crowd who got unruly after they realised that they would not get a glimpse of their favorite star. Big B arrived in Manali a day later. |
