When Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan did not get a visa to fly down to Mumbai for a song recording for Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal, he did the next best thing. He sang the song in a studio in Pakistan and sent it to music composer Pritam Chakraborty via e-mail.
