Hi folks, a lot has been happening with me since we last connected. Probably the most memorable of them being the 'Gladrags Megamodel & Manhunt' show which took place last month .This was where I started my career 5 years back and it was great to return to the same platform, this time as a judge. Having been on the other side, I could sympathize with the participants as I exactly know what they go through and how much effort they put in. It was really nostalgic and every minute I was thinking of my contest. I am a part of the Gladrags family and it is because of Maureen Wadia that I am here today in Mumbai. She is my Godmother and I can never say no to her. I really felt happy spending time with her and all the participants.
Post that I had my film Anamika release. I am happy that people have appreciated my performance. It's not a run-of-the-mill commercial film. It has a serious side to it. So incase you haven't yet checked it out, go and watch Anamika and let me know if you like it.
The last few days have been a little hectic and I myself wasn't keeping too well in between. Guess it's the weather!!! Now that I am fit and fine, I decided to take some time out and respond to some of your questions posted after my second blog. Must say that the questions were a nice mix of witty, naughty and intelligent ones.
To answer your question Ghouri, all I can say is that Darling you are not going to be so lucky. I don't think any of our Indian actresses are so desperate that they will go to such limits for work. As for me starting my own website, I'll probably plan it in a while. To be frank, I am too lazy to start work on that front, but in the meanwhile there are enough pictures and write-ups of mine on the internet. And now that I have my own blog, you can always hear from me.
Dear Priya, thanks a ton for your lovely compliments. As for the answer to your question, I think star-kids also struggle. It's just that their survival is a lot more secure because they are star-kids. But at the end of the day, it's all about your hard work. Your parents may just be able to give you a launch pad but after that you have to fight your own fate.
Sarthak, you bet, people still remember Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. In fact, people are now waiting for the animation version EKEH 2.0. As for your idea of coming up with a sequel to the original film, I will surely talk about it to Pritish Nandy.
Dear Raheel, personal secretaries are not such bad people as you think they are. In fact, they do not hang around with us all the time. But they have to be a little cruel at times to save us from certain nasty and unruly characters. It's only then that they play the bad cop.
ND to get me for a concert in Chicago, all you need to do is invite me and I'll be there.
And lastly Nitesh, the media reports are always a mixed bag. A few intelligent people like you know what to believe and what not but some of them take everything to be true. Hence, I thought that this is the right medium for me to connect with my fans and make sure that whatever crap was written about my brother and my good friend is cleared for good.
