Hi guys, this is Ranbir Kapoor and you have logged on to Ajab Prem Ke Ghazab Kahani's official blog only on Bollywoodhungama.com. Well starting off, we have Prem. He is actually a character that I play in the film; his name is Prem Shankar Sharma. He is this good natured guy and at the same time, good for nothing boy who has started a club called 'Happy Club' with a bunch of good for nothing friends who like to spread happiness, make lovers meet who are going through some problems in life etc. And during that course, Prem meets Jenny played by Katrina Kaif and falls in love with her, while Katrina on the other hand hates him. With this, his entire life story actually becomes tragic and how he comes through this with a smile on his face and still trying to make people happy and specially making the love of his life happy.
I got to play the character of Prem in this film and with that came eight different get ups, you know I got to play Charlie Chaplin, a geek, a statue, a halwai, this Shammi Kapoor meets Elvis character which was great and fun. I played a Pathani terrorist in it, and because it's a simple love story done in a comic way, I could have these different get ups. So I think that this was really interesting and challenging and done in a fun way not trying to spoof anyone.
Moving on to Prem's 'Happy Club', you know he has some rules and they are exactly the way I like, that is to make people happy, not fear anybody in life, always smile… you know by spreading a smile to the world you don't lose any of your smile. So basically I think these are really great philosophies to follow in life.
Through Prem's character I have done a lot so I have actually realized that there are a lot of different sides to life, like there is a really very unselfish side to life. And yes in the future I would love to do what Prem does.

Prem's (Ranbir Kapoor) fundas in life were very simple - be happy...make others happy...keep the town happy... But these supposedly simple fundas usually results in disastrous consequences for Prem, the members of his Happy Club, and the town!
It may have been a case of mistaken identity that led Prem to kidnap Jenny (Katrina Kaif). And it was sheer greed that made Prem try to pull a fast one over her father. As for sweet and simple Jenny, brought up by indifferent and uncaring foster parents, all she longed was to love and be loved in return.
And it was love and only love for Jenny that made Prem turn over a new leaf. From hardly working vagabond he began working hard to make money... From a besotted Romeo, he becomes a mature and thoughtful Majnu who put Jenny's happiness above everything else...As for Jenny...she was so much in love with the idea of being in love that she was blinded by the reality that was staring in her face...
